FOX 8 reports that Cleveland Heights Police Chief Chris Britton said that “some kind of fire” forced kids to evacuate the bus just before they arrived at their school.

All students reportedly got off the bus safely, and we are unaware of any injuries at this time.

From FOX 8:

“Everyone was safely evacuated, thanks to the quick action of the bus driver. The students were transferred to another bus and have arrived at school, where counselors and staff are providing supports to them,” Supervisor of Communications for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District Cathan Cavanaugh said.

This is a developing story.
